KATE SPADE

At Kate Spade, I assisted in building tech packs across the entire handbag and accessories assortments. In addition to that work, I updated classic SLG styles and created new novelty styles for straw, baby, and pet accessories. For development, I traveled to factories located in South Korea, China, and Italy to correct and comment on samples.

STRAW BAGS

Straw styles for Kate Spade referenced vintage styles with signature leather trim application and pop color surprises, like bi-color stripe or the dot noel lining in happy hues.

Part of updating top selling small goods included new hardware development. Kate Spade had a very clear direction for branding, so I was able to repurpose select existing pieces to create new looks without overdeveloping.
