I was instrumental in the re-launch of Cole Haan handbags in 2014— taking what Cole Haan is known for: craftsmanship and intricate woven detailing — and revitalizing the collection through fresh, modern collections. Many of the details that I conceptualized were adopted by the footwear and accessories teams for synergy across all categories.
BETHANY COLLECTION
The Bethany Collection was the top-grossing collection out of all that I designed for the Cole Haan re-launch. The Single Strap Hobo ($500) and the Large Tote ($600) were top sellers. The customer did not shy away from the price because they responded to the intricate woven detailing, craftsmanship, and functionality.
VESTRY Collection
The Vestry Collection offered clean, polished styles in a waxed calf leather in structured shapes. Offered in solid colors for Fall, followed by a studded and embellished version for Holiday.
FELICITY COLLECTION
The Felicity Collection was a core leather offering that included leather whip stitched detailing. These details were carried across men’s handbag styles, small leather goods, and footwear.
